At the event, CHOMARAT will showcase the advanced composite reinforcement technology that has made the company one of the world’s leading innovators in precast development, custom reinforcement products and structural grids using carbon fiber, fiberglass and aramid technology. In early 2008, CHOMARAT fully transitioned from its former company name, TechFab, LLC to further expand the markets and applications for its C-GRID® product line. The company also created a strategic technical partnership with Denso North America to create a revolutionary encapsulation system that not only protects timber and concrete piles from aggressive saltwater environments and marine borers, but also strengthens deteriorated piles with a durable, non-corrosive reinforcement. A mockup of the rehabilitated pile incorporating C-GRID® will be on display. Additionally, CHOMARAT North America expanded its product line introducing C100 4”x 4” grid, new C-GRID® constructions for shotcrete applications (both wet and dry mix), along with novel technology in repair and rehabilitation projects through several successful pilots.
For the decor market, CHOMARAT now offers CT-275 short roll kits, which provide economical solutions for countertops and other custom decor applications with a lightweight, flexible , high strength reinforcement grid product.
