CHOMARAT North America provides innovative, custom-engineered reinforcements that improve the overall performance of a broad range of structural applications. We combine our state-of-the-art resources with advanced technology obtained under an exclusive agreement with CHOMARAT Composites along with extensive chemical and industrial fabric experience for the improvement of products for new and existing markets. Our line of non-woven industrial fabrics includes chemically bonded scrims and scrim composites made of fiberglass, polyester, Spectra, Twaron, Dyneema, Kevlar, Vectran and other high performance fibers.
CHOMARAT North America also manufactures a variety of structural grid products designed to increase the strength and stability of conventional structural materials.
Our C-GRID® composite reinforcements are carbon fiber based, light weight, high strength and non-corrosive for internal concrete applications including pre-cast, cast-in-place, shotcrete, architectural structures, concrete decor including countertops and vanities, concrete overlays and repair. C-GRID® can be used in place of, or along with, steel mesh and light rebar - without the fear of rust or unsightly staining!
MeC-GRID non-carbon fiber structures are developed for external applications such as civil infrastructure reinforcement. MeC-GRID can also increase structural stability, hence extending service life and reducing long term costs.
